Using tokens within SalesReach to make personalization simple through the entire customer journey on your pages.
Any Unlimited License level customer in SalesReach has the ability to leverage Tokens to assist in populating pages with persistent customer specific information on pages built through the entire customer journey.
By default all unlimited customer accounts have a token for [Name] and [Company] available, however in the "General Settings" section of a team owner dashboard additional tokens can be created and added.
Below is an example of what this section looks like with an additional custom token added for "Industry".
HubSpot Integrated Accounts:
HubSpot users specifically using SalesReach as part of your prospecting efforts, we have something just for you:
Users can now assign a specific SalesReach Page to be the “Primary Page” for a HubSpot Contact or Company record.
SalesReach will automatically update a HubSpot property for the selected Contact or Company with the URL of its Primary SalesReach page. This allows you to use the SalesReach URL in your HubSpot Automated Workflows!
Just find and use the property “SalesReach Page URL” in your automated email templates.
Advanced users can alternatively use the token string “salesreach_url” directly in hyperlinks in automated email templates.
For example: “{{ contact.salesreach_url }}” or “{{ company.salesreach_url }}”
Example of using the SalesReach Page URL token in a HubSpot Template:
Example of creating a link to the SalesReach Page by using our Page URL token in a HubSpot Automated Email (for advanced users):
To use this new feature, the SalesReach team owner (who also has HubSpot Admin account privileges) must deauthorize & reauthorize access to HubSpot from the SalesReach Integrations page.
Note for HubSpot integrated accounts: Only Contact and Company Name can be pre-populated from HubSpot contact records. Any custom tokens added to SalesReach will require users to manually populate at this time.
Q: Do you need SalesReach integrated with a CRM to use Tokens?
A: No. Tokens are available to any Unlimited license customer. Our HubSpot integration just assists with pre-populating this information for you.
When Creating a page from within the SalesReach dashboard, tokens can be added by either selecting a template requiring tokens or by selecting "Edit Page Tokens" in the bottom left of the New Page modal.
When creating pages from within HubSpot, the Name and Company tokens will be automatically applied if page creation occurs from the contact record. Pages initiated from the Company record in HubSpot will only auto fill the Company name field.
Token information can be modified both prior and after page creation. If for example the Company name auto entered from HubSpot is different from the actual Company name you may modify this field prior to creation within the Tokens modal.
After page creation, tokens may be modified in the "Details" tab of any page pictured below:
Note: The way tokens function in SalesReach is different than a marketing automation system. The name field can be modified to include more than just one name. As you guide your prospect through their buyers journey, should additional members need to be referenced you may add additional names in the Name token. How you type them in is how they will be presented so feel free to use commas, ampersands (&) or just a simple "and" in the token line as shown below.
If your company plans to leverage tokens to aid in faster personalized content creation, we recommend ensuring that not only message templates are modified to request personalization tokens, but that those message templates are leveraged on page templates. This will provide the user building the page an immediate alert to populate token information at the time of page creation.
If all message templates are updated to include personalization tokens, as the users modifies the text area of any page, customer and company specific information will persist. See below for example:
As shown below, when creating message templates in your content management system, you are able to use personalization tokens in both headlines and body copy wherever you'd like. Keeping in mind that if a page is shared on a social channel like Linkedin that the headline on the page is displayed for the receiving party under the video gif, we can not stress enough how powerful it is to include a personalized element in each of your headlines.
As always, should you have any questions about leveraging Tokens within SalesReach, please reach out to your customer support representative and we would be happy to help.
