How do you create video clips?
Simply stated, video clips are just videos without a beginning, end or both. Video clips can be created wherever you like, using any video recording/editing tools you want, including directly in SalesReach with BuyerVideo. Video's created outside of SalesReach can be uploaded to SalesReach just like any video, however they will be uploaded to the "Video Clips" section of your library instead of the "Videos" area.
In the dashboard, you are able to organize clips into any number of permission based folders for your team to use just like all areas in SalesReach.
Additionally, like other areas in SalesReach, these clips can be updated or modified at any time.
However it is important to note that once a video has been created using a clip, modifying the previously used clip in the dashboard will not alter the previously recorded video. Once a clip has been used in a video, it is its own video.
Videos stored in the "Video Clips" area of the content library will then be selectable while recording your personalized videos from the page editor, the chrome extension and the HubSpot Integration as shown below.
Page Editor:
To record a video using a "clip", first start by selecting the "record/upload video" CTA from the page editor in the same way you would record any video.
You will now see a new option above "Record Video, Record Audio, Upload Video" which allows you to select additional video functions.
Options:
New Video: This would be traditional video where you intend to record from start to finish
Intro: Selecting "Intro" provides you the chance to record just an intro for any clip you then select
Outro: Selecting "outro" allows you to record a personalized outro to any video clip. with this option you will not be personalizing the beginning of the video.
Intro & Outro: Selecting this option will prompt you to record both an intro and outro for any generic clip you select. These will be recorded back to back with the opportunity to recompose between segments. The intro and outro will automatically be placed around the clip for you without any additional work required.
Video Clip: If you choose to record a video clip from the modal at any time it will be saved to the video clips section of the content library for future use.
Note: No matter how you choose to record your video, all video functions within BuyerVideo will be available to you including screen share, background functions, teleprompter and video/audio controls. Additionally, you can edit any part of the final video including the clip on a per video basis following upload/transcode on any given page. Editing the "clip" portion on a personalized video does not effect the root file for the "clip" video in the content library.
Choosing your clip from the BuyerVideo modal is no different that selecting assets or message templates from the page builder. Simply select the hyperlinked text to change the clip as pictured below.
Outside of the SalesReach dashboard, clips are also available to be created and used in assets, with the Chrome Extension (download extension here) and with our HubSpot Integration. This feature functions exactly the same as described above as the modal for rapid video creation is identical everywhere you create your videos.
